With the launch of the Essential Line, packaging machinery specialist Greif-Velox introduces a new product range designed for standardized, cost-efficient solutions with short delivery times. The line includes the proven VeloVac and BVP systems, as well as the newly developed R-Dos Essential. The aim is to provide companies with reliable equipment for efficient day-to-day production—without compromising on key quality standards.
Standardization as a response to market demands
With the Essential Line, Greif-Velox is responding to the growing demand for high-performance yet budget-conscious packaging solutions. In contrast to the company’s highly customizable premium systems, this new product line offers preconfigured systems with essential functions for reliable operation.

The Essential Line: Robust, reliable, and quickly available
The Essential Line includes three systems, each tailored to common application scenarios in industrial packaging:
- R-Dos Essential
The compact filling system for liquids with a reduced number of variants is already available. It features optimized controls and a standardized design for easy operation and stable processes. Designed for a wide range of applications, it covers approximately 80 percent of typical use cases. - BVP Essential
The pneumatic bagging system for granular materials, featuring a robust design and standardized operation concept, will be available from early 2026. Its compact build and modular structure allow for seamless integration into existing processes and provide an economical solution for common packaging requirements. - VeloVac Essential
The vacuum-based bagging system for ultra-light powders such as carbon black or silica is currently in development. This standardized version of the well-known VeloVac system offers reduced lead times, simplified planning, and a modular machine design.
