Lycored, a global leader in lycopene-based color and taste-enhancing ingredients for food and beverages has announced the appointment of Tammi Higgins as Senior Vice President (SVP) of its Food Division.
Responsible for the sales, marketing and development of Lycored’s portfolio of naturally sourced, clean-label food and beverage ingredients, Higgins will have end-to-end P&L responsibilities for the company’s commercial food business worldwide.
“Tammi’s skills and experience are just what we need to lead our Food Division successfully,” said Shirley Cohen, Lycored CEO. “Because our product portfolio is perfectly positioned to meet current wellness trends and the food industry’s increasing demand for all-natural ingredients, we anticipate tremendous growth in the sector and Tammi will be a critical part of our effort to lead in the clean-label and plant-based food segments.”
With a resume that includes executive sales and marketing positions with FMC and KALSEC, Inc., Higgins has been promoted to increasingly higher positions of responsibility within the Food Division since joining Lycored in 2015.

Preparing short- and long-term strategy development to ensure profitable growth, Higgins will lead all the Food Division’s go-to-market programs as well as manage the global commercial food team (including sales and applications teams) operations.
An International Association Color Manufacturers board member, Higgins holds an Integrative Management and Marketing MBA and a BS in Food Science from Michigan State University.
