Element Logic has entered into a strategic global partnership with Ranpak to integrate packaging automation technology into its warehouse automation portfolio. The collaboration combines Element Logicโs warehouse automation, software and systems integration capabilities with Ranpakโs end-of-line packaging solutions to help customers improve fulfilment efficiency, reduce packaging material use and support more sustainable operations.
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the companies and expands Element Logicโs offering across picking, packing and shipping. Through the integration, customers can access packaging automation designed to connect warehouse processes with end-of-line packaging operations.
Packaging Automation Expands Warehouse Integration
The partnership responds to growing customer expectations and sustainability requirements, including the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Ranpakโs technologies cover rightsizing, box forming, closing, computer vision and paper-based product protection, while Element Logic contributes warehouse automation and integration expertise.
The combined offering will focus on several areas:
- Integrating packaging into broader warehouse workflows
- Automating box building and packaging processes
- Right-sizing packaging for individual orders
- Reducing packaging material use and shipped volume
Ranpakโs systems can automatically select, erect and right-size packaging for each order, replacing manual box-building processes. The companies said this approach can help improve throughput, consistency and transportation efficiency while reducing packaging waste.
โAt Element Logic, we continuously expand our solution portfolio to help customers optimize warehouse performance from inbound processes to final shipment. Partnering with Ranpak strengthens our packaging offering and enables us to deliver even greater value through integrated, scalable and sustainable solutionsโ
Ankush Malhotra, Group CEO of Element Logic
The partnership strengthens packaging automation as part of a wider warehouse strategy, rather than treating packaging as a separate stage after order fulfilment.
Global Partnership Extends End to End Packaging
Element Logic said the collaboration supports its ambition to provide end-to-end warehouse solutions covering inbound logistics, storage, order fulfilment, packaging and final shipment. The integration of Ranpak technology is intended to create a more connected outbound logistics flow for customers.
Key areas of the partnership include:
- End-to-end integration of warehouse and packaging operations
- Packaging automation for more efficient fulfilment
- Scalable solutions combining software and physical systems
- Paper-based product protection and automated packaging processes
The companies said the integrated approach can help businesses improve operational performance while responding to changing sustainability requirements. The partnership also broadens Element Logicโs packaging capabilities by adding Ranpakโs automation technology to its warehouse automation portfolio.
โWe are proud to build this partnership with Element Logic, providing a trusted offering that covers end-of-line packaging processes while working synergistically with other core solutions in their implementations. With Ranpak playing a role in these integrations, Element Logic is offering their customers the pinnacle of flexibility and efficiency as they design and integrate intralogistics flows,โ says Omar Asali, CEO of Ranpak.
The global partnership gives customers access to packaging automation alongside warehouse automation and systems integration capabilities. By connecting packaging with picking, packing and shipping processes, Element Logic and Ranpak are expanding the role of packaging automation within integrated fulfilment operations and broader warehouse workflows.
