UFlex is an Indian multinational in flexible packaging materials & solutions known for continuous innovation in packaging that not only offers technologically advanced products but at the same time addresses sustainability needs across industry via source reduction, light weighting, and recycling of plastic.

UFlex revolutionized Tube Packaging with its innovative brand FlexiTubes that not only overcomes the limitation of present conventional tube packaging format but also creates endless possibilities for the brand. FlexiTubes provide all the critical features required for a successful packing – aesthetics to creating shelf appeal, barrier for protecting the ingredients and anti-counterfeit features for brand protection.

A first-of-its-kind eco-friendly paper based tubes– KRAFTIKA is the latest entrant from FlexiTubes which has been created for a positive impact on the environment as well as consumers by reducing the use of plastic at source.

KRAFTIKA tube uses moisture-resistant kraft paper sandwiched between layers of plastic as the body of the tube enabling reduction of plastic by almost 50% to 70% based on the application and tube diameters. It makes use of paper instead. Virgin kraft paper used for the tubes has low cobb value (low moisture absorption) and high burst value (tube integrity). The paper is also FSC certified. It provides stiffness to the body of the tube and allows for excellent bounce-back properties. It also prevents collapsing of the tube even after continuous use and reduction of the contents. KRAFTIKA tube has all the properties and features of FlexiTubes including reverse printed high-end graphics and barrier. Additionally, the natural look of kraft paper provides a very earthy look to the tube.

The tubes are available both in Plastic Barrier Laminates (PBL) and Aluminum Barrier Laminates (ABL) structures for varied applications like Oral Care, Cosmetics including face wash, gels, cream etc.
