SupplyOne, Inc., one of the leading North American distributors of custom corrugated and value-added packaging solutions, has expanded into California as it acquired Vital Pack. The company is working on in-house label printing and has established a strong base throughout the state.
The Vital Pack acquisition marks SupplyOne’s first entry into California. Vital Pack, founded in 2019 by James Luyben, is headquartered in Signal Hill, where it operates from two adjoining warehouse facilities. Though it has customers throughout the United States, the company derives the majority of its sales from within California.
The organization has a wide variety of shipping and packaging products, from shrink bundling film and stretch film to flexible packaging, corrugated products, and custom-printed labels. Its label-printing capabilities will complement SupplyOne’s in-house digital printing and converting capabilities, better enabling the combined company to provide high-impact, customized packaging solutions to customers in the region.
“Vital Pack was founded on the principles of quality, honest service, and reliability,” said James Luyben, Founder and CEO of Vital Pack. “Joining forces with SupplyOne enables us to continue delivering on that mission while expanding the resources and capabilities we offer our customers. We are excited to begin this new chapter with a partner who shares our customer-first values.”
Todd Renehan, CEO and President of SupplyOne, highlighted the strategic fit: “The acquisition of Vital Pack strengthens our presence in the Western United States and deepens our capabilities in flexible packaging and custom label production. Vital Pack’s talented team and dedication to customer service align perfectly with our mission to deliver value through packaging. We look forward to growing together.”
With this Vital Pack acquisition, the company becomes 44th in the SupplyOne portfolio and the first based in California. The move underscores the company’s commitment to offering practical, full-range packaging solutions across North America.
