Glenview, Illinois-based Envoy Solutions has entered an agreement to acquire full-line distribution services company Mooney-General Paper (MGP) for an undisclosed sum.
Hillside, New Jersey-based MGP provides equipment and supplies for industrial packaging, food service and food packaging, and sanitary maintenance.
The business specialises in both traditional and innovative solutions that are tailored to specific requirements of the customers. It is a known supplier to regional industries and businesses in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania for more than 12 decades.
The acquisition increases Envoy Solutions’ capabilities across multiple business areas and broadens the company’s current presence in the densely populated Northeast region.

The Illinois-based firm said that Mooney-General will have access to a national platform with an expanded product portfolio, better category knowledge, and the opportunity to reach a broader customer base throughout the US by joining Envoy Solutions.
