UFP Packaging, an affiliate of UFP Industries, has expanded its presence in Warrens, Wisconsin, US with the opening of a new production facility.

The site includes a new 11,840ft2 production facility and a 2,400ft2 employee breakroom. With the expansion, the packaging company expects to add 12 new employment roles and make a variety of wood packaging at the new production site.

The facility now has about 40,000ft2 of manufacturing space due to this development.

The new breakroom features the custom cabinetry and design of Quest Design & Millwork, a UFP member located in Stafford, Texas.

Additionally, the site’s modern space has enough room to support the expanding UFP’s team. UFP Packaging operations director Jeremy Brach said: “We’re very excited for these additions and how they will enhance our world-class workspace for employees.

“UFP Packaging is growing in Wisconsin, and we’re thrilled that our growth will help us better serve all of our stakeholders, which include our customers, our employees and our communities.”

UFP Packaging supplies full-service packaging solutions to several industries, including industrial manufacturing, power equipment and transportation, logistics, moving and storage, technology and medical, agriculture/horticulture, glass, auto, appliance and others.

The packaging solutions provider produces and sells the widest selection of custom packaging materials on the market, from wood pallets and crates to highly personalised packaging items like labels.

UFP Industries has several operating subsidiaries including UFP Packaging, UFP Construction, and UFP Retail Solutions. The company produces, markets, and sells a broad range of value-added products used in packaging, residential and commercial construction, and other industrial applications globally.

The company was established in 1955 and has affiliates in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Its headquarters are in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
