Chlorophyll Water to introduce bottles from 100% recycled plastic

Chlorophyll Water is set to unveil its new bottles made entirely from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) at the upcoming Natural Products Expo West.

The event is scheduled to be held from 13 to 15 March 2024, in Anaheim, California, US.

Chlorophyll’s 100% rPET bottles are made from food-grade rPET, adhering to US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) standards for food-grade recycled materials.

In addition to reducing virgin plastic usage for bottle production, the use of rPET cuts carbon dioxide emissions, with studies indicating up to a 79% reduction compared with virgin production.

Chlorophyll has also chosen Avery Dennison‘s CleanFlake label technology to complement its new sustainable bottles.
