In an effort to broaden its customer base and filling technology portfolio, ProSys Fill LLC purchased Pendergraph Machines. The ProSys and Pendergraph acquisition unites two businesses with complementary filling capabilities that cater to comparable markets.
ProSys, headquartered in Webb City, Missouri, specializes in filling systems for adhesive and sealant products, including viscous and self-leveling materials. With solutions ranging from straightforward cartridge and tube fillers to intricate custom-engineered assembly and filling systems, the company has expanded its expertise into other industries, including lubricants, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
“I feel the purchase of Pendergraph will allow us to provide quality systems to a larger customer base previously not served by our current product lines all under the umbrella of the service and support that our customers have come to expect,” said Acyr Borges, CEO of ProSys.
Based in Durham, North Carolina, Pendergraph Machines specializes in hot-melt filling systems for cosmetic products such as lip balms, deodorants, creams, scrubs, and other items. In addition, the company provides a variety of container labeling options and filling lines for nutraceutical products, including gummy formulations. Pendergraph is renowned for its lean manufacturing methodology and for offering standard machines that can be altered to fit the financial needs of clients.
“We are extremely excited about the acquisition by ProSys it will truly give us the opportunity to focus on our passion which is developing quality, efficient and cost-effective solutions,” said Doug Pendergraph, owner of Pendergraph Machines.
The ProSys and Pendergraph acquisition is intended to bridge the gap between small-scale filling operations and large manufacturing environments, supporting ProSys’ goal of becoming a single source for filling, labeling, and custom machinery solutions.
