Quadpack’s Creative Hub has introduced the Serenity Tube, a fresh innovation in under-eye skincare packaging. It’s designed to change how treatments are applied to the most delicate area of the face. The tube features a soft, flexible applicator that glides easily across the skin. It helps the formula sink in more effectively and gives users a calm, spa-like moment of self-care.
The 19mm Serenity Tube, available in 8 ml to 25 ml capacities, is built for creamy formulas such as depuffing treatments and anti-aging serums. Its patented spatula-shaped tip lets users dispense and spread the product in one go. A rectangular opening allows either a thin line or a wider layer, while a built-in valve system keeps it from leaking. The applicator, made of TPE, is soft enough to massage the skin for better absorption. Brands can also customize the tube’s look from sleek, high-end finishes to bright, fun designs to match their style.
Category Specialist Alejandra Isern explained the innovation’s appeal: “Serenity is much more than an attractive tube. On the one hand, it offers an engaging way of applying eye creams and, on the other, it adds value to the product, thanks to the textured applicator and the shape of the opening. It works in tandem with the formula, boosting its performance. Flexible applicators are very popular for lip care, but we’ve expanded the category to eyes. The product is compelling. It’s just as comfortable as using your fingers!”
The under-eye skincare packaging tube is available in ABL (a five-layer structure including aluminium) or PE, which may be mono- or five-layer with an EVOH barrier for additional protection of the formula. Its cap, made of PP, can include up to 100% recycled content, while the sleeve can incorporate up to 50% PCR material. Transitioning from virgin plastic to maximum PCR use results in a 21% reduction in carbon footprint and more than doubles circularity rates, a crucial factor for Scope 3 sustainability calculations.
According to the company, the Serenity Tube also marks a broader development platform within Quadpack’s Creative Hub, where additional applicator designs and new surface textures are already under development.
