ALPLA Group has launched ALPLAindustrial brand to market its large-volume plastic packaging for industrial and commercial use like buckets, canisters, and their closure systems.

ALPLA Group is consolidating the portfolio of Wolf Plastics, which it acquired in August 2021, to include products made of post-consumer recycled (PCR) material and creating the basis for further growth.

The company has supplied high-quality plastic buckets, canisters, bottles, and closures to major global customers from the food, chemical and construction sectors via its subsidiary Wolf Plastics since the autumn of 2021.

The packaging and recycling firm will now market products under its new ALPLAindustrial brand to supply large-volume plastic packaging for industry and professional use.

ALPLA Central and Eastern Europe managing director Rainer Widmar said: “Circular economy, sustainability and safety are key criteria for future packaging solutions in all sectors.

“We are also applying our many years of expertise in product design and recycling to industrial and commercial applications and are continuing our successful journey with the establishment of the new division.

“The corporate identity of Wolf Plastics will change to ALPLAindustrial over the course of the year.”

Currently, ALPLAindustrial produces around 400 products at its three production sites in Austria (Kammern), Hungary (Fertőszentmiklós) and Romania (Bucharest).

According to ALPLA, the buckets, canisters and bottles can be custom-designed using in-mould labelling.

The packaging and recycling firm has launched its own recycling line with up to 100% of PCR material. Additionally, ALPLA is offering industrial and commercial customers a sustainable alternative.

Widmar added: “Our innovative solutions are the ideal preparation for future regulations and thus provide a competitive advantage.”
