The prestigious 29th International Processing and Packaging Exhibition organized by Sinoexpo Informa Markets, ProPak China 2024, has concluded with resounding success on June 21 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai. In conjunction with FoodPack China, Hi & Fi Asia-China, HNC and Starch Expo, the exhibition has featured an exhibit area of 180,000 sqm and has attracted 900+ companies from around the world to showcase their advanced manufacturing equipment, solutions, and technologies.
Leveraging the robust synergies between the upstream and downstream industries showcased under one roof, the cumulative attendance reached a commendable 53,733 professionals from 112 countries and regions including Australia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, USA and Vietnam throughout 3 event days, which marked a commendable 12.81% increase compared to last year.

As a highlight of ProPak China 2024, a demo plant of unmanned factory was built in the Smart Manufacturing Hub at Hall 8.1 to unveil the tech-driven efficiency, digital standard, and sustainability benefits from smart logistics. The latest collection of the 2024 Shanghai Excellence Award of Packaging Design Artwork was also displayed in the Packaging Design Hub at Hall 7.1 to present the congregation of award-winning packaging designs from Gen Z talents in Shanghai, demonstrating the versatility of carton board and innovation in commercial packaging.
