Barcelona Packaging Hub aims to bring together leading manufacturers of packaging machinery and technology to offer global solutions for packaging projects to companies around the world.
The fact of creating a Hub with the different associated companies allows us to offer a complete solution for the packaging projects of companies from different sectors, facilitating the search and location of companies specialized in each type of process.
The different companies that are part of the Hub offer solutions for specific needs of each type of packaging, with the capacity to jointly respond to larger and more complex projects.
The Hub’s starting situation
The organization was born at a time when the Hubs or meeting points are becoming more and more powerful at a global level and also at a local level.
More than 90% of the companies in the packaging sector in Spain, Portugal and France are concentrated in the province of Barcelona, which is the strategic center for the sector.
The Director of the Barcelona Packaging Hub, Lucas Palma, says: “We started the project with great enthusiasm and with the certainty that all the partners will help to boost the sector and the Barcelona brand globally.
